A busy week ahead for BRAG’s Levenmouth Together

This week sees the first Fife PopUp Business School, a joint venture with Fife Council and hosted by BRAG Enterprises at the newly refurbished Levenmouth Community Enterprise Centre. The week long programme began on Monday 2 and ends on Friday 6th. It is aimed at inspiring local people to think a little differently about self employment, being encouraged firstly to focus on doing what they love and to think about the business secondly. Our picture shows the group on day two focusing on Sales and Marketing.

Thursday 5th March sees us delve into our story books for a free World Book Day event for ages 12 and under children to dress up, enjoy story time with the Gruffalo, make masks and take part in other arts and crafts as well as attend a mad hatter’s tea party. They could even win the fancy dress competition. The event runs from 3pm until 5pm, places are free but call: 03333202258 or message Levenmouth Together or Square Start Levenmouth on facebook to secure your place.

* UPDATE 18th March – This event has sadly been cancelled due to the current Coronavirus crisis* Later in the spring, on April 12th (Easter Sunday) 11am until 4pm sees “Cars chocolate 4 kids” at Letham Glen co- hosted by Levenmouth Together and the Scottish Subaru Owner’s Club, an annual car show with rides and inflatables for the kids. There are also activities planned throughout the day including: an Easter egg hunt, decorated egg competition and stone painting in the craft hut. This is a free event to attend but Easter eggs and food bank items can be donated. Funds raised will be used for local community groups and children’s charities.

May 8th to 10th sees the “May Fair in the Square” at Shorehead events space (car park) Following on from the success of last Summer’s “Food and Drink festival” and the Christmas themed “Fayre in the Square” in December. The Event’s team have taken on board feedback from both events and by popular demand they are continuing the 3-day event. The Fair will see local stallholders, food vendors, face painting, cooking demonstrations and will also feature live entertainment. It is hoped that the event will once more encourage visitors and locals alike to visit the heart of Levenmouth.
