Brag Enterprises signs Armed Forces Covenant

Brag Enterprises from Crosshill have signed an Armed Forces Covenant pledging to support all staff members, whether they are ex-forces personnel or Reservist members, within its business. More importantly, it also recognises that the services it provides to the community  must offer targeted support to ex-service personnel

Managing Director, Brian Robertson-Fern, said: “The Armed Forces are highly valued members of our region. Not only do members of the military community and veterans bring important knowledge and skills to our Fife based companies, the Forces with staff currently based here also provide income to Fife based businesses. We are therefore delighted to pledge our support for them.”

By signing the Covenant Brag Enterprises have committed to ensuring none of its employee’s face disadvantage as a result previous or current military service and staff are encouraged to become active members of the reservists. We are also keen to support ex service personnel who need support to gain employment through access to our range of employability and business start up services.

We also recognise that Reservists also learn skills that help their employability including leadership, teamwork, self-confidence, first aid skills, and confidence building so we will do all we can to support staff who would look to become reservists.

By signing the Covenant Brag Enterprises is now making a commitment to support the employment of veterans of all ages and their service spouses and partners, as well as offering a degree of flexibility in granting leave for service duties during deployment.

There is an opportunity to find out more about being a reservist on the HRFCA website. More information about businesses and organisations wanting to sign an Armed Forces Covenant can be found here.
