BRAG really has had a busy week

BRAG have been working with partners in Levenmouth the help deliver food and supplies to those most in need. On the Thursday before Easter  we delivered approximately 80 beef joints for families to enjoy on Easter Sunday as well as another 30 food parcels all containing Easter Eggs. ???? In total over the last 2/3 weeks the Levenmouth Together/BRAG van as well as a Fife Council van have delivered well over 250 food parcels from the Levenmouth Peoples Pantry to those who are Shielding and Pantry Members, This was as well as those who are vulnerable like our Gingerbread and Square Start families.

Over in Crosshill the team there have been setting up a similar scheme to help the people of Benarty. The emergency food pantry is almost set to go. We just need the food now with a load due in to us next Thursday. All our thanks to everyone involved in making this happen and our partners and funders for their help. Special mention to Awards for All, Foundation Scotland and the Benarty Forum who pledged us a very generous £5000 only just this morning. We also took delivery of loan fridges from local baker Baynes. Well done everyone. For those in need please bare with us. We will circulate arrangements on Tuesday on how to access once we hear back from others as we are looking to tie in with other agencies. In the meantime please stay safe & follow government guidelines.
