This programme is a 4 week part-time course incorporating a work placement where suitable. It is aimed at supporting 16 – 65 years old benefit claimants to progress into suitable employment through a bespoke employability related learning programme

Financial Advice

Participants on the ALBA programme will further benefit from one to one key worker support which will continue beyond the completion of the course. This will include carrying out a better off in work calculation.

Aftercare Service

Following participation in the course, Brag will support the customer into either work or work related training/placement.

All participants will:

  • Receive mutual support and encouragement from staff and each other
  • Help members improve their job search approaches
  • Maintaining motivation and helping with rejection
  • One to one sessions to deal with individual situations and issues
  • Specific help such as CV writing and interview practice

This course is aimed at those clients who are long term unemployed or who have multiple barriers, such as no work experience or living in a jobless household. If you are unsure whether you qualify or would like further information call them employability team on 01592 860296.
