We operate as a club which is now separate to but is supported by Brag who provide valuable free space and sponsorship.
Established over 3 years ago, we have raced across the UK at Greenpower Race Events, attending the International Finals at Goodwood Motor Circuit and Rockingham Motor Speedway. ‘The recently disbanded ‘Bragin’ Fifers’ also achieved a huge amount in 2016 when they were invited to race at the Jaguar Classic Race in Huntsville, Alabama, USA. All teams were involved in fundraising for this fantastic opportunity and they raised almost £12,000.00 in order to get the team and their car out to the USA. The trip was supported by Greenpower USA, NASA’s Space and Rocket Centre along with several other supporters.
Over the past 3 years the F24 teams have picked up prestigious Trophy’s and Awards for 1st,2nd and 3rd places, Best Presented Teams, Siemens Digital Award, Best Portfolios Awards and the Spirit of Greenpower Award as well as gaining a huge amount of new skills within Engineering, Mechanics, Design/Technology, PR, Finance/Budgeting/Fundraising and achieving industry recognised qualifications and gaining fantastic opportunities for work experience with Engineering based companies.
