Brag Enterprises  have 2 exciting new roles within our Fife-ETC Team. In addition we are looking for a new staff member for our New Enterprise Allowance team to cover the forth Valley area                                         

Role 1 – Employability Coach - Levenmouth

Salary: £14632.80 (£24388 FTE)

 

Salary info: plus generous holiday entitlement, pension scheme and group health cover.

 

Status: 21 Hours per week - Flexible hours

 

Closing: 12 Noon on the 19th April 2019

Interviews to be held 24th April 2019

 

Location: Based within Methil however you will cover the entire Fife area

 

Role

The core of this work is to provide employability training to individuals who are long term unemployed and/or have multiple barriers. This includes how to make changes to improve their standard of living whilst also preparing to move into and sustain education and/or work. Whilst there is course material available to use the post holder must also be available to make changes to this as needs arise to ensure that the right service is delivered at all times. This can encompass both group work and 1-2-1 provision. This training will be rolled out across Fife, for participants involved with Fife-ETC. Close working with colleagues in Fife-ETC will be required to gain referrals however close links with local providers must be forged to ensure there is a flow of participants as this role has targets.

Brag works to provide training, support and guidance to all participants on the programme in order for them to increase their confidence, skills and experience. All such training services will be implemented to Quality Standards, with fair and equal opportunity for all concerned carried out in a healthy and safe environment and in a positive manner suitable to all learners needs.

We are looking for people who thrive in delivering a person centred approach and can be adaptable to reflect the ever-changing needs of our client base. You will be experienced in coaching and supporting with an ability to ensure you can keep focused and deliver quality training and support whilst retaining a flexible approach.

This post is 100% ESIF funded and is anticipated to run for 3 years, based on performance and funding.


Role 2 – Mental Health Inclusion Worker - Levenmouth

Salary:  £24388

Status: 35 Hours per week - Flexible hours

Role

The core of this work is providing training around addressing poor mental health. This includes how to make changes to improve individual’s health and wellbeing whilst preparing to move into and sustain education and/or work.
This involves working to support those who either are long-term unemployed or have multiple barriers into positive progressions, including education and employment. Brag works to provide training, support and guidance to all participants on the programme in order for them to increase their confidence, skills and experience. All such training services will be implemented to Quality Standards, with fair and equal opportunity for all concerned carried out in a healthy and safe environment and in a positive manner suitable to all learners needs.
The Mental Health Inclusion Worker will lead requirements for training sessions by holding focus groups initially in Methil and Crosshill, rolling out to other areas as need arises. This will include understanding what services the focus group participants have been involved with and the success of this to ascertain what was good or bad and what gaps in existing provision we can fill. To enter into discussions with Mental Health staff, OTs, CPNs etc., as this will also shed light into any gaps in provision. Once this data is gathered then the Mental Health Inclusion Worker will devise sessions that are of real value to those accessing our services to address the problems caused by poor mental health and to move them towards attaining and sustaining work. Role 3   Business Advisor – Forth Valley Area

Salary:  £23,110 per annum

 

Salary info: plus generous holiday entitlement, pension scheme and group health cover.

 

Status: 36 hours per week

 

Closing: 12 Noon on the 26th April 2019

 

Location: Based within in Forth Valley area and West Lothian

 

Role

The New Enterprise Allowance (NEA) is aimed at supporting DWP claimants to start their own business. The scheme provides mentoring support and financial assistance in the form of a weekly allowance. This post is intended to provide the mentoring role required for the programme.

This post will be based in the Forth Valley area, with travel to West Lothian also.

To provide mentoring support and guidance to all participants on the programme in order for them to increase their confidence, skills and experience and to attain and sustain self- employment.  All such training services will be implemented to Quality Standards, with fair and equal opportunity for all concerned and will be carried out in a healthy and safe environment and in a positive manner suitable to all learners needs.

The main tasks and responsibilities are:

Have an initial meeting with clients, discuss their business idea and formulate its likely success then assist the client in the production of a business plan to a pre-agreed standard. Support the client through the NEA process providing advice and coaching where required. Collate performance information both on a weekly and monthly basis and provide related information to the Line Manager. Carry out the duties and responsibilities within the scope defined by the Company's Health and Safety Policy and Lone Working policy. To undertake any other duties appropriate to the post and the needs of the organisation or as directed by management. These will be agreed with the post holder and will normally be within the scope of their qualifications and/or experience.
